1. Educational & Assistive Guidance Only

IRB GPT provides automated drafting recommendations and compliance templates for educational purposes. It does not constitute legal advice or official Institutional Review Board approval. Researchers are solely responsible for verifying study parameters against their own institution's policies and template directories.

2. No Guarantee of IRB Approval

While our models are configured against Common Rule subparts and Belmont principles, using generated documents does not guarantee that a convened review board or administrative officer will approve your study protocol without request for revisions.

3. Fair Use & Affiliation Disclaimer

IRB GPT is offered freely by the Observable Compute Foundation. We are not officially affiliated with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) or the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP).
